One of the challenges optometrists face each day is effective and concise communication with their patients, colleagues and the public.  The opportunity to serve our patients, parents, educators, and other health care professionals is compromised if we can not clearly and effectively communicate to them about vision development and visual function as it affects learning and other activities of daily living.
